WHAT OUR GRADUATES HAVE BEEN AND ARE WORKING ON
Our fabulous purpose-built studio is everything you could want from a training facility. Set out as a fully functioning makeup room, professionally designed to accommodate not only students but also professional shoots. With our 16 professional workstations, a 20ft central workspace area and a 50inch TV, even at our maximum intake of 12 students our space feels enormous.
The studio is always fully stocked with a huge variety of products and equipment, all the things you will need to complete your training and qualifications. We believe in using the best and the right tools for the job, we pride ourselves on keeping up to date with what’s new and relevant.
AR also boasts a fully equipped and functioning film/photographic studio, often used by professionals for small film shoots, music videos and fashion/editorial shoots. We even have our own mannequins for lighting tests. The studio is available for students doing portfolio shoots and test shoots and we use it as a teaching aid to help you understand not just the makeup application but also the industry.
The complex surrounding us is a combination of 6 very large working film and TV studios, props and costume workshops and more makeup rooms than you can imagine, along with the industries top film equipment hire companies and production companies. All of whom are so welcoming and keen to see our students follow the road to successful careers, we are so happy to be able to bring you here and lead down that road.
